This planned redevelopment of a disused 1980s office building into a high-quality mixed-used development will positively contribute to the ongoing regeneration of Bromley Town Centre. Once completed, it will contain commercial space on two lowest floors and 64 residential units above. The client is Kitewood Estates Ltd.

BLDA Consultancy worked closely with the architect, DunnettCraven, from the outset of the project on maximising natural light levels across all residential units. This included testing an impact of louvres, introduced to some windows in order to minimise potential overlooking onto neighbouring houses. The planning application was submitted in 2020, with follow-up extensive consultation with Bromley Council undertaken throughout 2021. As a result, some scheme amendments were introduced and additional studies were undertaken, which included an assessment of daylight and sunlight effects on future redevelopment potential on neighbouring sites.
