We recently acted for a client who owns several high-end apartments at Sheldon Square, W2 6DQ, against redevelopment proposals for the Travis Perkins site along Grand Union Canal, W2 6NA.

Our work involved carrying out a comprehensive review of the proposed planning application drawings and critiquing the daylight, sunlight and overshadowing assessment in particular. The proposed scheme would have significantly reduced current daylight and sunlight levels to the dwellings, and we argued that it was unacceptable and should be significantly reduced in height. Together with opposition from other neighbours, we have succeeded, and the application was unanimously refused by Westminster City Council in March 2022.
